Drs Ludvigsson, Lernmark and Atkinson have been named among the top-ten worldwide experts in the research and treatment of type 1 diabetes, according to Expertscape, a service providing research ranking based on scientific publications.

Dr Ludvigsson is the Principal Investigator of the clinical trial DIAGNODE-2 with the diabetes vaccine Diamyd^®, Dr Lernmark is a member of Diamyd Medical’s Scientific Advisory Board and Dr Atkinson was recently elected to join Diamyd Medical’s Board of Directors.
