Diamyd Medical attended the 50th EASD Annual Meeting held in Vienna, Austria on 15-19 September 2014. The scientific meeting, which is the biggest annual diabetes conference in Europe, brought about 18,000 people from healthcare, academia and industry in the field of diabetes. As usual, Diamyd Medical was there to network and to discuss possibilities for future collaborations.

In connection with the event Diamyd Medical held a meeting with its Scientific Advisory Board comprising internationally leading experts on type 1 diabetes, discussing the development plan for Diamyd Medical’s Antigen-Based Therapy, the diabetes vaccine Diamyd^®, and potential combination therapies.
